Improvisational Team Sync, a cued-improv format, is a fast-paced union of team sport, secret language, mental dexterity challenge, and sleek, powerful urban dance. Developed by Amy Sigil and made famous by Unmata, it's a movement language shared by thousands of dancers around the world.
New to ITS or cued improv all together? Awesome! This is the perfect time to start. Had past exposure and are ready to brush it off and polish it up? Jump in!
Fusion Belly Dance Technique (Mixed Level) - Wednesdays 6 PM CST
The purpose of this class is to aid dancers in developing their technical tool kits, and it is structured to provide instruction appropriate for dancers with a variety of skill levels. Beginners are welcome, and topics such as isolation, strength, range of movement, layering, and expression will be addressed. Each class will begin with a warm-up developed to promote strength and flexibility followed by technical drills appropriate to each individual dancer’s skill and experience levels.
The Dauntless Dance Project (Teacher Approval Required) - Wednesdays 7PM
Intended for dancers with a mastery of basic belly dance movement vocabulary, this class is designed to aid dancers in developing skill in the areas of expression and development of personal style. The class will feature original choreographies and combinations in a variety of fusion genres as well as activities involving experimental movement and examination of group dynamic. Plan to strap on a life jacket and wade outside of your comfort zone!
Choreo Kaleidoscope with Kimberly Larkspur - Thursdays @ 6:30 PM

Taught by Kimberly Larkspur, compositions vary in style by project and are scalable for dancers from skilled begintermediate to professional levels. Instruction includes staging and adaptations to allow them to be performed as solo or group dances as well as practice videos by section for use outside of class, and an interactive format that allows you to get all of the clarifications and assistance you need to leave each session with a fully-developed, stage-ready piece you can actually use.
